 Overview

The AT5045 is Audio-Technica’s premier studio condenser instrument microphone, providing pure and realistic sound quality for a variety of acoustic instruments. Despite its compact stick-design, the AT5045 features more diaphragm surface area than most traditional large diaphragm side-address microphones. Its discrete components are carefully selected for optimized performance, and the transformer-coupled output ensures a smooth sonic character. The AT5045 also boasts exceptionally low noise and high-SPL capability.

Each AT5045 microphone is hand-built and inspected for 100% quality control. The microphone is housed in elegant aluminum and brass, providing durability and low reflectivity. The advanced internal shock mounting system decouples the capsule from the microphone body, offering superior vibration isolation. Additionally, the AT5045 comes with an innovative isolation clamp for secure mounting and effective dampening of mechanical noise. It is available as a single microphone (AT5045) or as a stereo pair (AT5045P), and includes a custom hard-shell carrying case for protection.
